The Langtang Gosaikunda Trekking 7 days starts in the beautiful city of Kathmandu. Therefore, You board the bus to Dhunche, the starting point of this incredible trekking adventure.

Langtang Gosaikunda Trekking 7 Days trail gains elevation as you go along with the first through forests of oak and rhododendron. Then, bamboo forests are on the higher reaches of the trail. You will visit a traditional cheese factory where the product is hand-made.

Once in Chandan Bari (3,330m/10,925ft), having traveled through Deurali, you can relish magnificent views of the towering snow-covered Ganesh Himal (7,600m/24,934ft) and Langtang -II (7,227m/23,711ft) peaks during Gosaikunda. You might spot the shy Red Panda inhabiting the Langtang region.

Permits for Trekking Gosaikunda

Gosaikunda is truly a beautiful trek that stays at the top for lake treks in Nepal. However, to trek this lake, you will be entering the Langtang National Park, and the journey continues through the Langtang valley. Moreover, you will be requiring Langtang National Park Entry Permit and the TIMS(Trekkers Information Management System) card. The trek to Gosaikunda may sometimes get a bit high and these permits are one of the contributing factors. They come with a cost of

How difficult is Gosaikunda Trek?
