What is the total distance covered in the Round Annapurna Trek?
Annapurna Round Trek is one hell of a long trek. Probably one of the longest treks here in Nepal. We go all the way from Kathmandu to Upper Pisang. From there we tend to trek all the way to Kagbeni and then to Tatopani. From Tatopani, we will return back to Pokhara and then to Kathmandu. All this trek will be approximately 230 km (143 miles). This is quite a long journey for an unexperienced one. Thus, above mentioned distance may be up and down depending on your need and itinerary.
What is the highest altitude point in the Round Annapurna Trek?
The Round Annapurna Trek will take you to the absolute peak of 5416 meters(17,769 feet). Here the Thorong La Pass settles which is the only pass that is at this altitude. Moreover, there are other great attractions in high altitudes that you will visit in this round trek. Such as Tukuche (4,750 meters), Throng Phedi (4540 meters)

The spring and fall seasons will be your best friend if you decide to trek this round trip. Spring begins here in Nepal from March to May and Fall beings from September to November. These months offer you the best weather and stable conditions that are great for trekking. With clear skies and moderate temperatures, the views are amazing from those altitudes. You can experience the best time of your life around these seasons. Moreover, being a long trek, even a day of bad weather can mess up your schedule. Thus, choose your trekking time carefully.
What are the transportation options available to reach the starting point of the Round Annapurna Trek?
The Annapurna Round trek is usually started from the town of Besishahar. Which settles at an altitude of 800 meters. Thus, to reach Besisashar, the transportation options are public buses, private taxis, and jeeps. However, for your trek, Nepal Lion Treks will provide a private transportation facility with basic amenities such as Wi-Fi and battery charge. However, transportation by flight is not possible in Besishahar due to the lack of an airport here.
